These instructions detail the conversion of the generator into a compact synthesizer featuring two mixable Low Frequency Oscillators and a Voltage-Controlled Filter.

This application offers a comprehensive and playable representation of three distinct versions of the DR-OM units uncovered at a yard sale near Quonset Point, accompanied by a collection of photocopied schematics. Each DR-OM unit possesses its unique sonic characteristics due to deteriorating components or previous owner's faulty wiring. The Speed dial represents the most delicate component of the assembly; in different units, it can induce tuning drifts, sporadic events, and gritty effects.

In the 1970s, this noise generator earned the moniker "Doctor Om" due to its meditation-friendly tones. Some speculate that the name stands for Drone Ready Oscillator Module or Dual Recirculating Oscillator Module, although its true origin remains uncertain.
